Hi, I'm Jen.

You don't have to have it all figured out—

that's where I come in.

I'm a career coach, purpose mentor and lifelong encourager with a passion for helping people get clear, get confident, and take meaningful steps forward.

With a background in recruiting, training, and talent development, I’ve worked across industries and career stages—from entry-level hires to executive leaders. Over the years, I’ve partnered with well-known companies across corporate, nonprofit and agency settings, including Target, Ameriprise and several fast-growing startups. Today, I also serve as an adjunct instructor with Career & Internship Services at the University of Minnesota, where I support students as they prepare to launch into the next phase of their lives and careers.

My experience in talent acquisition gave me an inside view of what makes a candidate stand out and I bring that business lens into every coaching session. I’ve helped hundreds of clients refine their resumes, practice interviews, develop personal branding strategies and navigate job transitions. Most importantly, I help people discover what truly motivates them—and how to communicate that with confidence.

I specialize in coaching young adults and early career professionals—especially those navigating the messy, in-between spaces of figuring out what’s next. Whether you’re in college, skipping college, switching paths or feeling stuck in your first or second job, I help you align your strengths, values and goals so you can move forward with direction and purpose. I also work with more experienced professionals who are ready for change—whether it’s re-entering the workforce, pivoting careers or simply redefining what success looks like at this stage in life. Wherever you are in your journey, we’ll build a path that fits you.

My coaching style is practical, encouraging and rooted in real-world tools. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice—I believe in asking the right questions, slowing down to get focused and building a plan that works for you.

I’m always open to connecting with curious, motivated people—whether you’re exploring coaching, looking for advice or just want to grow your network. Let’s connect on LinkedIn or reach out directly if you’re ready for a conversation.

-Coaching Client

Coaching rooted in empathy.

In addition to my professional background, my personal journey has shaped how I show up as a coach—with deep empathy, perspective and care.

After the sudden death of our first child, Maxwell—a healthy, joyful little boy—my life changed in an instant. One day, I was a working mom with a career I loved and a son who filled our lives with light. The next, I was trying to survive the unimaginable. We leaned into every resource we could—therapy, support groups, retreats—and over time, we found our way back to joy.

That experience taught me what it means to completely lose your sense of direction and what it takes to rebuild. It gave me the ability to hold space for others in tough seasons—to offer both compassion and a way forward. While my coaching is career-focused, I bring all of myself to this work. Because I know that growth and grief can coexist and that clarity often begins with being seen and supported.
